Canadians the Political Rights
they Deserve!

We welcome you to be part of the "Maple Revolution"!

The Democracy Party of Canada will bring direct democracy to Canada.  DD is defined here, or watch a related video.  We will do this through the electoral process, not by running off to court or by lobbying from the sidelines as an interest group.

To achieve this goal, we seek help from people from all walks of life.  Ideal would be students seeking experience, retirees looking for a project, and everyone in between.  Entrepreneurs, patriots and just plain ordinary people are preferred over "militant activists".

This team needs your enthusiasm, creativity and talents.  Here is a list of activities with which we need help. 

A political background would be great.  However, a single person with experience in political organization can complement 10 of us with little or none.  That's how teams succeed!

Among our immediate needs are raising 250 declarations to satisfy Elections Canada requirements in order to run in the next federal election, and fund-raising to help get our message out to Canadians.

Be part of the next great human rights advocacy initiative in Canada -- political rights!   Let's take back our wonderful country from the big corporate, big labour and special interest powerbrokers who are squandering so much of our nation's prosperity and potential -- and doing it without even asking for our opinion, participation or permission.

We'd also like to take far greater advantage of the web.  This site is a good start, but there's so much more:  Newsletter and mail list technology, design enhancements, improved hosting options, and blog-rolls.  These are all part of the "present", not the "future".  We need help bringing our web presence up to par!
